Earn Money Online

Survey Sites & Apps
QuickThoughts
This is an app for both Android and iOS; if you have Android, you can redeem Amazon gift cards from it, and iOS redeems into Apple Store credit.  You can cash out every $10 earned, and it's instantaneous!
It has surveys that usually pay $2 each, and it gives a good estimate of the time required for each survey so you can pick and choose which will give you the most value for the least amount of time.  A survey disqualification is $.10, so if you disqualify 5 times, you still get an easy 50 cents, which adds up!
Since the beginning of January, I've made almost $300 on this app alone.  I've even gotten surveys that qualify me for other online discussion groups that pay out monthly, and I've also received free products to test at home.

This one has reduced its earning opportunities in the past few months, but I am hoping it picks back up soon because it's been a great earner for me.  I've earned $250 from it within the past year.
I usually start out by doing my To-Do List on the home page and after that, I click on the "Videos" tab on top and open one of the Smores playlists and let it auto-play.  Pretty soon, I earn my daily 25 cents without much effort.  This doesn't have great earning potential, but it's easy and every 10 days that I reach this goal, I get a bonus.

I haven't explored the site too much, but there are surveys, other videos, free trials, as well as paid emails (Ernie Mail) and bonus codes that you can enter on the site to redeem for money (bonus codes are usually found on their social media pages).

This one is fairly easy, but a slow earner.  You can do the daily tasks, which usually consist of taking a short quiz or clicking a link, and after doing this several days in a row, it gives a bonus.  You can also search on Bing to earn points.  Once you earn 5250 points, you can redeem them for a $5 Amazon card.  I'm really lazy about doing this one, but in the past year I've redeemed $90.

This is the gist of the site:
They send surveys to your email to usually ask about products or advertisements, and sometimes they'll send you the product to test it out.  Each survey pays $3, and there are a lot of ways that you can choose to redeem your earnings.

This site will also send surveys to your email, and each has a different value payout.  The surveys usually will disqualify you fairly quickly rather than waiting until the end like other sites, so it doesn't waste your time.  You can cash out starting at 625 points, which is the equivalent of $5.

Here are a few other survey sites that I use that all essentially do the same thing:

And here are some other survey apps I've used that you can also use to earn some extra money:
Qmee
Survey Monkey Rewards
Hatch (the icon is a white egg with an orange background)

(I have more installed on my phone that I haven't tested.  If they're good, I'll add them to the list!)

Rebate Apps
These apps allow you to scan your receipt after shopping to get cash back on certain products.
Shopkick (referral code EASY634519)

Trunow gives you cash back for your gas receipts.

CoinOut gives you money for any receipt you scan.
Receipt Hog rewards you for scanning receipts as well!

I'll keep adding legitimate earning sites and apps as I find them!
Message me if you have questions about how to use any of them, if links are broken, etc.

Amazing Amazon

Amazon is my go-to place for buying... pretty much everything.
Here is a handy list with some of the perks of Amazon Prime.

That list is great, but there are a few other things that I really like about Amazon (and Prime membership) that are not as well-known.

Kindle First
The Kindle First program is a nice bonus that Amazon Prime members receive:
(If you want access to other free books, click here)

Coupons
Clipping Amazon coupons is a piece of cake.  Just browse through the different categories and click to clip!  The coupons will be automatically applied when you checkout.

Amazon Open Box
I only recently discovered this, but it is really great.  Amazon has Warehouse Deals on items that have been refurbished and are "like-new".  I've personally ordered diapers, baby gear, video games, etc. through here.  They have all come in original packaging and were much cheaper than they would have been had I ordered them normally.

Shipping Credits
If you don't need your Amazon order delivered immediately, you can delay the shipping and be rewarded with credits!  I've done this before and gotten either a $5.99 Amazon Pantry credit or $1 for digital items.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Some Amazon sellers are willing to give you major discounts if you review their products.  Here are two of my favorite ways to do so:
Getting products in exchange for reviews is now against Amazon's terms of service, but you can still get good discounts from the sites below!

UberZon
You don't necessarily have to review the product to get the discount, but the sellers are giving the discounts in hopes that you do.  Signing up for the UberZon Club is really easy.  You just need to subscribe with your email address and in return, you will receive several emails a day with a few products listed each time.  When you click on the product you need to agree to the terms and conditions in order to receive the promo code for the discount.
With UberZon however, you need to be really fast and lucky to reserve your promo code.  They have a limited number and often get snatched up quickly!

AMZ Review Trader
***The info below is outdated. The site is now Vipon.com and you don't need to leave reviews! You just get promo codes for steep discounts on items! (I probably get 70% of my wardrobe through this)

ART (or AMZ Review Trader) is a little more involved than UberZon.  You need to create an account and link it with your Amazon profile.  Once you've done that you can start requesting items to review under "Go Shopping".
Sellers tend to approve requests based on your review word count and how many products you have previously reviewed.
Once you have a request approved (found under "Review Requests") you can accept or decline the voucher.  When you accept the voucher, a promo code will appear that you can enter at checkout to apply a discount for the product.
You have about 10 days after receiving the item to leave a review (for both the product and the seller).  Make sure that once you have reviewed an item that you submit it to the ART site so that you get credit for it and can continue to receive promo codes!
*When you leave a review, make sure you say that you received the product at a discount or for free in exchange for your honest review.

Baby Goodies

When you are expecting a new addition to your family it is so exciting to begin the nesting process, especially when you can get some of the items for free.  Below is a list of things that legitimately give you free products for your little one!

Amazon Baby Registry Welcome Box
This item is listed on Amazon for $35... here is what you need to do to receive this box of samples for free:
1. You'll need Amazon Prime.  You can sign up for a free 30-day trial here.
2. Create a baby registry.
3. Purchase $10 worth of items off of your registry.
4. Wait for an email with instructions.  This is what mine looked like:

Here are some FAQs about the Welcome Box.

Target
When you create a baby registry at Target, you will be able to pick up a Welcome Kit at Guest Services.  (This is a popular one that is trending on social media right now.  It's totally legitimate, but the increase in the demand means that stock may be low.)  This Welcome Kit has some nice samples and coupons.
In addition to the Welcome Kit, you'll also get "completion coupons" for 15% off items on your registry.  These coupons usually appear about 8 weeks before your due date. If they don't, contact customer service since the coupon countdown tends to glitch.

*Some people have received additional gift cards and coupons in the mail after registering, but that's not always the case.
*I recommend creating your baby registry through their website.  There have been many instances of registries not working properly when done in-store.

buy buy BABY
buy buy BABY also offers a "goody bag" with samples which you can pick up in-store.  They will also send you a coupon for 20% off one item when you subscribe to their emails or texts.  You can do so by clicking here or by texting "offer" to 42229.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cheap-ish "freebies" (not really free)
Walmart has a subscription service available for baby samples.  The Walmart Baby Box itself is free, but the shipping is $5 per box.  They are sent every few months and will notify you beforehand via email.

There is also a group of companies that sell baby products that have joined together to form the "Mother's Lounge: Wholesale Mother & Baby Product Distribution".
There are often promo codes circulating for these products, usually making them free.  You do have to pay shipping on each item however, which is about $15.
(I personally like the Carseat Canopy and Nursing Pillow.)

How to get FREE BOOKS!

I LOVE to read. I also like to reread my favorite books over and over, but it is nice to get some new ones for variety.  However, I am out of bookshelf space, which is where digital books come in handy!

There are quite a few places to get digital books for free:

-BookBub
You sign up with your email address and every day you'll receive a list of books that are either free or discounted.  The email includes descriptions of each title so you can get an idea of what each one is about.  The books are compatible with Kobo, Nook, Amazon Kindle, Android, and iBooks.

This service is very similar to BookBub, and they often have the same titles featured, primarily for Amazon Kindle.

-Audible
If audiobooks are more appealing to you, then audible is a great source for quality audiobooks. It's a subscription service ($14.95 per month), but you do get a free 30-day trial to see if you like it.  If you often purchase audiobooks, you are probably familiar with the hefty price tags.  The nice thing about Audible is that the books you choose each month are yours to keep, even after canceling your subscription.
**Right now, Swagbucks is doing a special offer on Audible!**
-LibriVox
Audiobooks can be very pricey.  However, LibriVox is a great source for free audiobooks from the public domain.  They are often older books, but who doesn't enjoy the classics? (One of my personal favorite things to listen to on LibriVox are the old radio shows!)

-Overdrive
If you have a library card to your local public library you probably have access to Overdrive.  There are both Andriod and iOS apps available which you can sign into with your library card number and pin (usually you can set these up at the library).  Once you are logged in you have free access to both digital books and audiobooks.  You can check out different titles which are auto-returned after your checkout period (no fines!). The titles you checked out can be read or listened to using wifi or downloaded to your device.

Eaaaaasy Money!

Earning Money Online
Swagbucks
You may or may not have heard of Swagbucks, but it is quickly gaining popularity.  Through the website or apps you can earn swagbucks (SB).  1 SB = $.01, so 100 SB is $1.00.  Some of the easiest ways to earn are:

-Surveys
The surveys vary in payout of SB but are one of the best ways to help you meet your Daily Goal (you receive bonus SB if you meet the Daily Goal, especially if you do so several days in a row).  However, it is easy to get disqualified from them since some surveys are looking for very specific audiences.  Don't get too discouraged if none seem to be working out.  Just check back a little later and try again!  If you are out of Gold Surveys, just look on the left and click on "Peanut Labs Surverys" to try for a few more.

-Swag Codes
On your homepage, you will see this:
If you have the Swagbucks app or the Swagbutton installed in your browser, you will be notified every time there is a new Swag Code.  All you have to do is find it and enter it in to get easy SB.

-Videos
You can watch playlists of videos to earn SB.  Many people like to turn them on when they aren't currently using their computer, or they mute it and have the videos going in another browser tab while they work on other things.  The payout isn't large, but you don't have to really do anything!  Just periodically check the tab to see if you need to start a new playlist.

-Searches
Like with Bing Rewards, you can get paid for doing your normal daily searches.  You can make Swagbucks your default search engine and it will randomly reward you SB during a search.

Earning Station
This site is my favorite way to earn currently (October 2018), since Swagbucks has become more of a grind. If you earn $.25 each day, which is super easy, then you can keep up an earning streak, which gives a bonus every 10 days. The survey payout is decent, especially if you check out the Daily Surveys page.
Since surveys aren't always guaranteed, though, I print coupons to make sure I can make the daily goal. From the home page, I hover over "OFFERS" on the top left, and then click on OfferToro.

There are two links here to print coupons from, each worth $0.20 (it says you have to print 25, but I just have always printed 1 or 2 from each link).

With the printing step, you don't have to actually print. You can either save to PDF or to your Google Drive, and it will still credit you after a few minutes.

1Q
This app just sends you really brief surveys (1 or 2 questions usually) and will immediately pay you $.25 or $.50.

Hatch
There are some decent-paying surveys and studies that you can participate in on here. I think it's only on the Google Play store, but hopefully it becomes cross-platform soon!

Other Survey Sites
Pinecone Research, Harris Poll, One Opinion, Product Report Card, Opinion Outpost, and Inbox Dollars are all other good potential earning options! Pinecone Research has been my favorite, purely for the fact that it pays $3 per survey $!$!$!$!
-The first four have given me opportunities to test products and get paid for it!-

In-Store Savings
Rebates
Ibotta, Checkout51, Fetch Rewards (use referral code N6KVH for extra points), and SavingStar are all cash-back rebate apps.  Before your shopping trip, take a look at the app and see what products offer cash back.  Select the ones you plan on purchasing and mosey on over to the store!  When you get home you scan your receipt with your phone, selecting the products you purchased.  Once your purchases are confirmed you get credited with your cash back!  When you reach a certain amount (each app has a certain minimum) you can cash out. Cha-ching!
*Ibotta also offers bonus cash for completing special tasks!

Coupons.com
I don't have any newspaper subscriptions, but that doesn't stop me from getting coupons!  There is a wide variety of current coupons on coupons.com that you can just print off.  I personally find it easier to print from within the coupons.com app instead of the computer since you don't have to install the Coupon Printer.
If you do print from the computer though, why not earn Swagbucks while you are doing it?  You can access the coupons at http://www.swagbucks.com/shop/allcoupons/grocery/.  You can earn 10 SB per coupon used!  (Keep in mind that you might not get credited immediately)
*Coupons.com now also has an app where you can scan your receipts and it will send your rebate amount directly to PayPal!

Shopkick
If your Bluetooth is on and the Shopkick app is open, you can earn for just walking into stores. You can get more points for scanning certain items, and even more for buying those items and scanning the receipts.

Receipt Scans
Gas!
If you scan your gas receipts with the app Trunow, you can get cash back!

Other Receipt Apps
CoinOut is still fairly new, but you get money for each receipt you scan. You can even forward your email receipts to them and those will also get cash back!

Receipt Hog also allows you to scan any receipt for rewards!

I'm not an extreme couponer at all, but I do like saving money and getting cash-back!  I hope these tips can help you to do the same!
-These are some of the things that have personally worked for me-
